Card no:19 - Distressed Thank You Card

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
Hello Everyone!
This is a Simple Distressed Card where i used some Wooden Blocks for Stamping and Brown Chalk for Distressing.
For Details see the Tutorial.

Tutorial

  1. This is a standard card size 5.5x8” thick white cardstock.
  2. I just stamped with wooden Blocks (Block Printing Blocks), I just used an Acrylic Paints with a sponge and dabbed over the blocks, and stamped, it was fabulous as I did, because before I was thinking it won't look that good, but it was done so fine and smooth, Alhumdollillah.
  3. Then I just took a creamish cardstock and wrote some Thankyou wordings, and chalked the sides with rounded stencil brush using dark brown colour, to give it a distressed look, and ribboned it.
  4. I chalked all over the card as well with the same rounded stencil brush and brown colour, to give the whole card a distressed look.

Card no:16 - A Thank You Card!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته
Hello Everyone!

This is another Thank you card which is very easy to make, check out the simple steps below.

Tutorial:
  • In this card i just painted a sheet of white paper (A4 printer paper) with water colours and just painted some coloured stripes with a half inch flat brush to work faster.
  • i just pressed the paper with iron (from the back side) to make it straight, dry and smooth, and just cut a rectangle for my background of the card, a little smaller than the card size, with a designed scissors.
  • On top i attached a strip of striped pattern paper and bowed it with an orange ribbon.
  • Another thing i did, i drew a border on a square 2.5 x 2.5inch and paste it to a navy blue sheet, which is a little bigger than that, so that i can show a lil border, i attached a star brad to it, and wrote thanks at the corner, and drew some stitching lines around, thats all.
